Winter Trade Days 2011

Photos by Jim and Kathy Cummings

The Saturday and Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend brings visitors and vendors to Fort Boonesborough. Vendors can set up their wares inside the cabins. For visitors this is a free event since this is after the regular April to October daily schedule for Fort activities.

It’s a great time for Christmas shopping when looking for gifts associated with 18th century pioneers.

In addition it’s the weekend when “Re-Enactor Appreciation Prizes are awarded for re-enactors who participated in fort events throughout the year.
